Steam page coming soon (I hope)

I completed all the necessary forms, uploaded various images of different sizes, and once the “publish” button was visible I pushed it. The site says it will take 2-3 days to review and go public, but there’s no indication that it’s actually under review. Still, fingers crossed I did everything right and it gets approved!

Next I need to research how to do a Steam build. After glancing over the directions it doesn’t seem to be too complex, but I want to make sure I have a thorough understanding of how it all works. I also plan to implement achievements which will require some development.

I’ve started playing around with Android builds as well, figuring out what’s needed to get something up on Google Play. It will take a while to get an official Android release out due to the number of adjustments needed from the desktop version, such as changing the controls, but I plan to get that out once the desktop build is in a stable place with the main features implemented.

This is an exciting step for me. I’ve been working on this game off and on for a few years now and it’s now getting close to actually getting released. There’s still some features I want to add in, but getting the main stuff implemented into a game that isn’t just playable but is hopefully enjoyable, is a huge step.
